Description

  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organisation.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

Profile

The Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • A strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
  • High attention to detail; reliability and dependability.
