A small financial services firm in the west end is looking for an Office Manager/ Team Assistant.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid
  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organised, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other related software
  • Knowledge in office management systems and procedures
  • Some administration experience
