Senior Operations Transport Manager

Our client are recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager at their brand new site in Halewood

Salary £50,000 per annum

Additional car allowance

20% shift allowance

Monday to Friday with optional overtime at weekends

Rotating shift 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

Training provided on day shift

You will supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your area and shift.

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills, knowledge and capabilities:

Identify and bring new standards to operation

Have transport knowledge

Be able to coach, support and make decisions for their team and wider team

Be accountable and approachable

Have a can do attitude and willing to fix issues in a timely manner

Have transport and management operations experience including resource planning

Set and track KPI's for performance tracking

Conflict resolution

Act independently without supervision

Deal with compliance and security regulations including health and safety, audit inspections and risk assessments

Working with budgets and budget reporting

MHE licences would be an advantage but not essential
