My client is a manufacturing and wholesale business based in Openshaw. Due to a restructure of the finance department they are recruiting this role initially on a temporary basis but the position is required permanently so this will be a temp to perm for the right candidate.
As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional finance duties within the function. This will include assisting with aspects of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, processing expense claims, dealing with the credit card payments and statement reconciliation, bank payments and creating supplier and customer accounts.
This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a transactional accounting position who is a competent user of Excel. The salary is paying up to £27,000 as an annual equivalent with free parking onsite and an earlier finish on a Friday.
