We are seeking a Repairs Supervisor to lead a team of high-performing operatives, ensuring the delivery of exceptional work quality and efficient use of materials. This role involves complex diagnostics and coordinating multi-trade repair projects, including major leaks affecting multiple properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficient skills across various trades and have a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
Day to day of the role:
- Oversee and ensure high standards of repairs and maintenance work quality.
- Conduct complex diagnostics and coordinate multi-trade repair projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
- Deliver toolbox talks and conduct one-to-one meetings with operatives.
- Perform pre and post inspections on tenanted properties.
- Manage the void team to ensure properties are ready within the set timescales.
- Attend evening Tenant Association meetings and respond to both internal and external customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all work activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or in a similar role within the repairs and maintenance sector.
- Proficient level skills and experience across a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
