A short-term temporary School Administrator vacancy has arisen at a primary school in Hulme. A well established school with over 400 full-time students, the school is a modern and well-equipped learning environment, rated as "Good" by Ofsted.
Location: Hulme, Manchester
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Length of Contract: until Christmas (approx.)
Salary: Competitive
The Role:
- Answering and making phone calls
- Communicating effectively with other office staff
- Liaising with parents
- Welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments for students, parents and staff
- Handling ingoing and outgoing mail
- Assisting with administrative duties
- Some low-level finance responsibilities
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience of the above duties
- Previous experience of working within a school environment, particularly in a school office or reception
- At least one year of administration experience
- Knowledge and understanding of key health and safety issues
- A well presented and professional attitude to work
