My client is a global engineering business, a leader within their specialist field with strong partnerships in the engineering and construction sector.
To further strengthen their business they currently seek a Communications Executive to join their marketing and communications team. You will support the creation, development and execution of internal and external communications. The purpose of the team and this role is to build the brand through communications, design and events. They seek an experienced communications professional who is keen to continue to develop their skills in a broad role.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective internal communications strategies to support the Internal Communications Manager.
- Manage the communications for key stakeholders internally.
- Create engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media and the internal employee app.
- Management of updates to company websites and social media channels.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and tone of voice.
- Work closely with the design team to support the creation of assets.
- Use InDesign, Photoshop and Canva to create assets and materials for communications campaigns.
- Organise and assist with event management on a range of events both online and in person, including conferences, awards nights, webinars, briefings, and photography shoots.
- Stakeholder engagement with a variety of teams from across the business at all levels.
The successful candidate with have ideally a minimum of two years experience in a similar role with proven experience of creating and delivering communications activity. This includes strong writing skills, content creation and use of social media platforms. Knowledge of systems including InDesign, Photoshop and Canva are also desired.
