This specialist through school provides a supportive environment for students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students
- Assist with classroom management and provide tailored 1:1 support
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual learning plans
- Encourage positive behaviours and promote self-esteem in pupils
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEMH and/or challenging behaviours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Ability to adapt to various situations and student needs
- A passion for helping young people thrive
