The Role

As a Complaints Handler, you will be at the forefront of managing and resolving customer complaints. You will be responsible for investigating each case thoroughly, working closely with internal departments and retail partners, and responding to customers professionally and promptly. Your role will involve handling complex complaints, adhering to regulatory standards, and ensuring that customer responses are in line with company policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Customer Relationships:

Address complaints individually, ensuring each customer feels heard and valued.

  • Conduct Detailed Investigations:

Understand issues in depth and determine appropriate next steps.

  • Handle Complex Complaints:

Ensure all responses comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Respond to Claims Management Companies:

Compile thorough and accurate responses.

  • Prepare Customer Responses:

Determine outcomes and ensure responses meet the company's high standards.

  • Collaborate on Vehicle Quality Complaints:

Gather information from dealerships and work with team members to resolve issues.

  • Ensure Compliance:

Adhere to regulatory standards and timelines.

  • Respond to Data Subject Access Requests:

Compile responses in accordance with company policies.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure. A background in a highly regulated complaint function is essential, and experience in the motor finance industry is desirable.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:

  • Comfort working within a highly regulated complaint function.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a customer environment within the motor finance industry.

The Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive daily rate of £160. While there is no contractual right to work from home, we provide the flexibility to request remote work for up to 50% of the working days in any given month, subject to business requirements.
