Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator seeking a new job in Telford? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our client's inclusive and collaborative team, the role comes with an hourly pay rate ranging between £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience).
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has both Setting & Operating experience on an AMADA Press Brake, but they would consider taking on someone with just Press Brake Operating experience, with the view to you learning the setting.
This is a day shift pattern Monday to Friday (7.30 am - 4.30 pm/lunch time finish Friday) - 39 hours per week. The hiring manager would consider taking someone onto a permanent contract from Day 1, provided you have the right experience.
As a Press Brake Operator, some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Loading and checking programmes as per job sheet and selecting correct materials
- Loading and unloading of parts into Amada Press brake
- Quality inspection of parts using equipment and gauges, ensuring they have been folded within tolerance
- Working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment

- Previous experience working with a Press Brake
- Previous experience with Amada machines would be beneficial
- Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings
- The ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision.
