We have an initially temporary operative role available within Aggregate Industries Hulland Ward site.
Role: Operative (level 2)
Location: Aggregate Industries, Smith Hall Lane, Hulland Ward, Ashbourne, DE6 3ET
Rate: £11.96ph day shifts. £14.35ph afternoon shifts. £17.94ph for optional Saturday overtime and overtime exceeding 38 hours on day shifts.
Contract length: 6 months initially
Shift Patterns: Day shifts 06:15-15:00 Mon-Thu and 06:15-14:45 Fri
Afternoon shifts 14:45-12:30 Mon-Thu (suitable applicants must be able to do both shifts on a rotation)
Responsibilities:
- Working within the production unit to ensure the effective distribution of goods
- Producing a variety of concrete product on primary and secondary processes
- Manual banding items
- Press tool operation
- Assisting with reject removal
Essential requirements:
- Driving License and access to own vehicle
- Good level of English and Maths
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to conduct manual handling and be on your feet for the majority of the day
- Previous experience within a factory/production environment
Desirable requirements:
- Previous experience working in a safe systems of work
- FLT License
