This position as a GCP Engineer allows you to work within a dynamic Telecoms company located in the heart of London. You will be developing a new GCP data environment and migrating data into the new environment.

THE ROLE

As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be involved in a data transformation program, building a new platform and migrating to GCP due to the implementation of a new Google stack within the company.

As a GCP Engineer, the objective is to develop and migrate onto a GCP data platform. This will involve:

  • Designing and developing a data warehouse from scratch using Python/Pytorch
  • Developing and implementing ETL extractor pipelines.
  • Setting up BigQuery environment and developing CI/CD pipelines
  • Using BigQuery to load data into the GCP environment
  • Creating documentation of the process to relay to non-technical specialists.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

As a GCP Engineer, you will require the following background and skills:

  • Commercial experience in GCP data platforms.
  • Experience building out new data platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Pytorch, Bigquery, ETL, CI/CD.
  • Full Google stack experience
  • Experience migrating data from on-premise to cloud solutions.
  • Commercial experience using BigQuery and best practices to create data

flows.
