Academics, a leading education agency, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Teaching Assistant to support a variety of primary schools in the area.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work with children in EYFS, KS1, or KS2, providing one-to-one support, leading group sessions, and assisting with classroom activities. You'll collaborate with the Class Teacher to create a fun and engaging learning environment, from organising exciting activities to setting up eye-catching displays. This role also includes reporting on pupil progress, identifying learning needs, and ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.
Your safeguarding knowledge will be up to date thanks to our free, annual online education and training, ensuring you're always prepared to handle any situation.
To join us as a Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you'll need:
- At least 6 months of classroom experience supporting children.
- A Level 2 Qualification or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- References from the past 24 months of employment.
- The ability to commute across the area of Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
We offer competitive pay, ranging from £83.33 to £90.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), depending on experience and responsibilities.
