Managing Quantity Surveyor

Posted by Lovell .

Permanent - Full Time - 40 hours per week

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team covering the Lovell Midlands region.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Quantity Surveying department, ensuring that the company's contractual and financial interests are best served. You will oversee the project reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate composition of trading results, and presentation of Management accounts and forecasts by the region.

We'd like our Managing Quantity Surveyor to have a proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and have experience of sub-contract orders, understanding the buying and estimating process, as well as previous refurbishment experience. You will be able to manage the surveying department across the region and be comfortable with recruiting, training, and developing commercial teams. You will be able to prepare and understand financial reports and have knowledge and understanding of claims and dispute resolution.
