Transport and Production Co-ordinator
Based in Newton Heath, Manchester (M40)
Offering £25,000.00 to £27,500.00 per annum
Full time, permanent contract
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Newton Heath who are looking for an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join their expanding team.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience and competency in Transport Co-ordination and/or Planning - open to all industries.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge on Microsfot packages, primarility in Excel and PowePoint
- Must have previous work experience using SAGE Accounts.
- Strong communication skills, both vocal and written
- Confidence and comfort in having B2B conversations and providing a high level of customer service
- Ability to follow procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent time keep and attendance.
The Role:
- Planning day to day routes for drivers
- Communicating with production, drivers and customers
- General administration including; Site paperwork, drivers records including working hours,
- Transport maintenance and weekly checks of the fleet
- Processing deliveries and collections via the database.
- Pairing up collections from various locations
- Organising 3rd party haulage when required.
- Organising product transfer between second site
- Monthly customer reporting
- Working alongside a supporting and friendly team
Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
