Role: Wood Machinist
Location: Merton - Colliers Wood
Sector: Builders / Timber Merchants / Timber Mill / Saw Mill
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)
FULL TIME / PERMANENT POSITION
We are recruiting a Wood Machinist for a Building / Timber Materials Supply Company - a Saw Mill / Timber Mill. Excellent company to work for and the necessary training will be given where required but it should be said some sort of Sawmill / Joinery experience is required.
The materials involved will mostly be timber, plywood, MDF and laminated panel products.
They would like someone who can hit the ground running who has some sort of very relevant experience.
This company has a wide range of machines saw mill facility. You will mainly be using a Spindle Moulder Cutter and Bandsaw. Please bear in mind from time to time you may be required to other machines where training will obviously be given.
If you have experience of other machines in a timber mill environment then this will be useful. Have you had previous experience using a Spindle Moulder or Bandsaw? We would love to hear from you.
