The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior School Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of two schools within our network. This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and forecasts. Ensure accurate and timely financial records.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies. Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing and related financial operations.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation to maximise efficiency and effectiveness across both schools.
  • Financial Strategy: Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the education sector.
  • A strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
