We have been appointed by this Leicester based firm to source and recruit a Financial Controller to join them at this critical and exciting moment in their journey.
The CFO will be managing a major IT project for the business so needs an experienced finance professional to step in and take financial control of the business but more importantly be involved in the commercial aspects of the business.
The Financial Controller's main accountabilities will be around monthly management accounts, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting, month end reporting and management of a small finance team.
This Financial Controller role will become the Finance Director in 3-5 years, so an individual who is driven, technically minded and with a high level of commerciality will prosper in this environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounts
- Cashflow, budgeting and forecasting
- Month end reporting
- Management of a small finance team
- Statutory accounts
- Corporation tax returns
- Oversee and develop the company's finance IT system
- Specify and ensure timely production and distribution of Management Information
- Comparison of actual performance versus budgeted / forecast, with variance analysis
- Develop a model to record and monitor sustainability KPIs
- Business planning / forecasting / acquisitions
- Management of relationship with existing finance providers
- Management of relationships with business advisors
We'd be interested to hear from someone who is:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance professionals
- Experienced Financial Controller or similar
- Has high business acumen
