Great opportunity to join an expanding team.
With online business and digital marketing being key to the growth of the brand, they have a product range of over 50,000 items, which keeps their copy writing team very busy.
Ideally you will have 1-2 years previous content/marketing experience in a similar on-line environment.
Role outline:
- Adding product descriptions, images, downloads and videos for new items added to the site
- Optimising content for best-selling/highest GP items on site
- Using SEO to maximise Google ranking for in-demand products
- Dealing with Metadata
- Taking ownership of updating, responding and managing of Trust Pilot reviews.
- General fresh content ideas and staying ahead of industry trends and products.
Specific skills and experience required:
- Good IT skills are necessary due to the amount of different systems used.
- Attention to detail - particularly with product specification to avoid description errors.
- Ability to develop excellent product knowledge and technical understanding
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A creative who is able to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent grammar and use of written language and creative content writing.
Strong IT skills and experienced in Microsoft office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Back office systems are bespoke so full training will be provided.
This is a busy and varied position for a creative spark with a proven ability to think outside the box within an online digital marketing environment.
Office based working in Salford Quays
Basic salary £28,000 - plus large company benefits, and bonus scheme.
