Your new organisation
My client is a public sector organisation that is looking for an experienced building surveyor to join their Economic Development, Asset and Property team to assess and deliver work on their commercial property portfolio.
Your new role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering professional property maintenance services to the organisation's property portfolio, including schools and offices. You will ensure that the organisation's asset management plan is fully informed in relation to building/structural elements and in connection with their property portfolios and assist the construction team when required.
What you will need to be successful
A degree in building surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification such as an HND in surveying, at least five years of relevant experience in building surveying, preferably in the public sector, excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices in property maintenance and asset management.
