Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B76 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024
Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for enhancing the lives of children looking to make the best start in life? Our partner Primary school located in the heart of Sutton Coldfield is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from September for the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position. You will have the enriching chance to contribute significantly to the growth and achievements of students who require additional support on their educational paths.
Responsibilities:
- Support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, which includes preparing materials, setting up equipment, and arranging the classroom environment.
- Promote active participation and engagement in learning.
- Help develop and modify teaching resources and materials to accommodate the varied learning needs of students in the class.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
- Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Have at least a year's experience supporting Primary school pupils.
