Your Mission:

As a their Teacher of English, you'll inspire and engage students through a dynamic and inclusive curriculum, ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential. You'll craft and deliver stimulating lessons, support and mentor teaching assistants, and play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and equitable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Collaborate with the Head Teacher and leadership team to champion the school's vision and objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor, evaluate, and enhance teaching practices to drive student achievement.
  • Community Partnership: Work closely with staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to support students' academic and personal growth.

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience: Ideally, experience with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum, SEN pupils, and SEMH or ASD challenges.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safeguarding principles, child protection procedures, and diverse teaching strategies.
  • Creativity: Ability to build nurturing relationships and engage reluctant learners through creative approaches.
