We are looking for a Residential Property Manager to work with one of the UK's foremost providers and funders of Outdoor Learning.
Join our dedicated Property team and contribute to our impactful work, where your expertise will make a tangible difference to our residential tenants and the Trust's charitable endeavours.
As a Residential Property Manager, you will oversee the management of our Trust's residential property portfolio with external support where required, consisting of 160 properties across five counties: Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire. This important role ensures excellent communication skills, operational efficiency within the portfolio, and working at pace, contributing directly to the Trust's charitable object, while maintaining the positive tenant relationships we have with this important customer base.
You will be instrumental in ensuring the success and efficiency of our residential property portfolio through diligent management and strategic oversight. The role involves completing timely rent reviews, effectively managing debt levels, minimising void periods, maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards, and efficiently overseeing repairs and maintenance within budget constraints.
For this role we are looking for previous experience in lettings and property management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software (e.g. Landmark)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Negotiation skills and diplomacy in tenant and contractor relations
- Familiar with residential property legislation, with the ability to adapt to relevant changes
- Efficient problem-solving skills in addressing residential queries and issues
- Full UK driving licence
