We are recruiting a commercially orientated Finance Director for a creative agency based in Buckinghamshire.
Our client is growing both organically and through acquisitions and this scaling activity, has necessitated the requirement to identify a new high calibre Finance Director.
They have developed a super cool working environment, which in their opinion is conducive to the production of high quality work in a creative environment, reflected further in their high staff engagement and retention rates.
Overview: Lead the finance function being responsible for all day-to-day financial activity; be a key member of the senior leadership team; act as a finance business partner to the CEO to help drive profitability and future growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the finance function to better support the business specifically in terms of reporting, KPI's, management information and data analytics.
- Manage and develop the financial systems to allow the business to scale efficiently i.e., utilising automation and implementing new dashboards.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting process. Produce meaningful board packs. Cashflow management. Statutory reporting.
- Work across the business to drive client profitability, utilisation of labour etc.
Your profile:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). You will have hands on experience as a Finance Director / Financial Controller / Head of Finance in an agency environment.
- Having held the position of finance lead in support of a Founder / CEO / MD, you must be able to demonstrate playing a pivotal role in driving commercial initiatives.
- A superb communicator with excellent presentation skills. I will need to see that you are proactive and a solutions focused problem solver.
Hybrid working, a minimum of three days per week in their office.
