This post is part time and permanent, working 14 hours per week - Thursday and Fridays.
Working as part of the switchboard team, this role acts as the first point of contact for all University telephone enquiries, both internal and external.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as you direct callers to their required destination or provide them with key information on University activities. You will also be responsible for updating directory information and providing advice to colleagues on how to use the telephone and voicemail system.
You should have experience of working in a computerised telephony environment such as a switchboard or call centre in order to process the high volume of calls. As a representative of the University you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and work well in a busy environment.
