Receptionist/Helpdesk Administrator

About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Receptionist/Helpdesk Administrator who will act as the first point of contact for all visitors and staff to the building providing an excellent first impression. You will work in the busy and ever-changing environment of the reception within our hardworking team, ensuring customer satisfaction and care amongst clients and visitors alike.

You will be working 07:30 to 20:00, as a casual worker which covers 9.5 hours per week.

Candidate will be covering holidays and sickness of staff and will be expected to work weekends when required. Shifts and hours are not set and will vary depending on business needs.

You will:

  • Receive high profile visitors who need to be dealt with efficiently, ensuring minimal delay in them meeting their host or attending their meeting.
  • To ensure that all visitors and contractors to the hospital sign in the appropriate register.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional service with a strong emphasis on providing the highest levels of customer care.
  • Supporting the Administration Manager with administrative tasks, and any other ad hoc administrative tasks as directed.
  • To comply with all health and safety regulations and to ensure that any incidents or concerns are reported to the Line Manager.
  • Report any situations or issues that could have a detrimental impact to Accuro, Willcare or the end users.
  • Perform basic administration tasks
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, dealing with such calls promptly in a professional manner, and re-directing appropriately.
  • To provide monthly reports in relation to Helpdesk calls, both planned and preventative.
  • Provide information to visitors in a concise and friendly manner
  • To comply with all health and safety regulations and to ensure that any incidents or concerns are reported to the Line Manager.
  • Ensure the fax machine is stocked with paper at all times and distribute faxes promptly.
  • To ensure that adequate staff signing in/out sheets are available at the beginning of each shift.

As a successful Receptionist within our team you will need:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal.
  • A polite and friendly manner with a good telephone voice
  • A professional manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent PC skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and team-working skills
