Tax Senior

Location: Walsall area,West Midlands (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £ 30-40k + bens, DOE

We are currently partnering with a successful medium sized Accountancy Practice to recruit a Tax Senior to support their growing and varied portfolio of clients with the Personal and Corporate Tax division. The role will suit someone either already a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or as a supportive employer they can provide financial support to someone looking to expand their current Tax Advisory experience and work towards the CTA qualification.

The successful candidate will work in a mixed tax role across both Personal and Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory services but will likely be given the opportunity to specialise in either area in the near future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Handle complex tax issues and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct tax research and keep up to date with changes in tax legislation.
  • Build and nuture strong client relationships.
  • Support on business development activitity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and guidelines.

Key Skills & Experience required

  • Ouali?ed CTA or currently studying towards the CTA quali?cation (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in both personal and corporate tax.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
  • Pro?ciency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation.
