Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting. You will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business growth.
This is a part time position for 2 days a week in our London studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and contribute to business decision-making.
Requirements:
- A relevant accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
- Experience as a Financial Controller in an SME business
- Excellent communication skills
