The London Cremation Company plc is Great Britain's oldest cremation authority, and its principal activities are carrying out cremations and providing memorials at its crematoria.

We now have an exciting new opening for an Office Support Administrator to join our team - supporting the MD and Financial Director with all key administrative tasks , while also providing business support to the Senior Management Team.

We are looking for somebody that can fulfil a minimum of 16 hours per week - Mondays are necessary (based in the office) but the rest of the week is completely flexible to fit around your other commitments - so open to long days or a few hours each day.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Support Administrator:

  • Ad hoc administrative support to the MD and Senior Management team.
  • Schedule Management and Board meetings.
  • Co-ordination and distribution of reports and agenda papers for Management meetings.
  • Attend meetings and take notes of discussion, prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
  • Monitor and manage the company email account.
  • Ensure the smooth running and upkeep of the Head Office facilities, including ordering stationery and kitchen supplies as required.
  • Arrange any necessary repairs for the office.
  • Liaise with office management vendors, including cleaning contractor and security contractor.
  • Maintain Company fleet records, ensuring MOT's are booked and vehicles are serviced and taxed as required.
  • Maintain filing systems of sensitive and confidential information, ensuring adherence to GDPR requirements.
  • Co-ordinate and action website updates.
  • Maintain a Company supplier register.
  • Liaise with the security and alarms provider.
  • Liaison with estate agents regarding Company property rentals.
  • Manage share sales and transfer requests.
  • Co-ordinate between the Company and the IT and Telephone support providers.
  • Organise larger company meetings, events and conferences as required

Skills & Experience Required:

  • High level of emotional intelligence - due to nature of industry we operate in
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Previous experience within Office Support / PA / Administrator position
