Job Description
Our lovely client is looking for a dedicated Service Manager. You will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of their busy department. This includes supervising a team of 4 administrative staff, 6 field service technicians, and various subcontractors. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Team Management: Lead and supervise 4 admin staff, 6 field service technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and daily productivity.
- Job Scheduling: Ensure that all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) jobs are raised, checked by Accounts, and scheduled promptly.
- Job Allocation: Manage the allocation and processing of Brewery jobs, including Purchase Order requests, to ensure timely and accurate handling.
- Client Portal Management: Maintain and update Client Portals to reflect current information and status.
- Division Efficiency: Oversee the efficiency of the Freshwater Division, ensuring invoicing, quoting (if applicable), updating, and replanning are conducted effectively.
- Invoice and KPI Targets: Achieve daily and monthly invoice targets and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met consistently.
- Work Allocation: Ensure that all technicians, whether internal or subcontracted, have sufficient work on a daily basis.
- Subcontractor Management: Keep the subcontractor spreadsheet up-to-date and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Job Logic Review: Regularly review job sites on Job Logic to determine attendance requirements and manage date reinstatements.
- Inbox Management: Oversee the service inbox, ensuring it is managed and maintained efficiently.
- Stock Transfer Requests: Verify that all Stock Transfer Requests are correct and timely, capturing any additions.
- Payment Certificates: Manage monthly payment certificates from Client Portals, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior supervisory experience is essential, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Job Logic and SAP is preferable but not essential.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attributes: Excellent organisational and time management skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
