Junior HR Business Partner - up to 12 months fixed contract

Salary: £35,000-£38,000

Location: Nottinghamshire

This is an opportunity for a motivated and proactive Junior HR Business Partner to join a leading sports & luxury retailer renowned for its innovation and market leadership.

Offered on a contract basis to cover a period of maternity, as Junior HRBP you will be supporting a dedicated region in a full generalist role within a fast paced environment of elevation and growth.

Although this is a regional role, there's no real element of travel attached to the role, instead you'll be located at the flagship campus in Nottinghamshire.

Strong partnering skills is essential for this HRBP role as is the ability to thrive in such a fast paced and dynamic environment.

In this generalist role, you will be responsible for delivering people plans, providing comprehensive HR support to your area and be instrumental in driving HR initiatives, supporting employee relations, and contributing to the overall HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with managers and employees to provide HR guidance and support on various issues, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company standards.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role, gained from within a fast paced retail environment
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
