Inventory Team Leader required within an ambient warehouse in Exeter, EX2
- £25,715 per annum
- Monday – Friday, day shifts
- Flexible shift pattern, 0600-1430 / 0800-1630
- Finish early on Fridays! 39 hours per week
About the role
- To ensure reconciliation of all paperwork re: deliveries, invoices, claims for credit, uplift
- To maintain the Perpetual Inventory System and control the organisation of slot and item counts ensuring all pick slots are validated within time windows
- Ensuring there is effective, training, development, and discipline of all inventory staff and assist in yearly appraisals and regular one to ones of direct reports
- To ensure audit and investigation of all count overrides /stock discrepancies
- The organisation of company stock takes
The right candidate
- Previous experience in a leadership role, such as a supervisor, team leader or manager
- Background in logistics / warehousing sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident user of MS Word and Excel
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending
