Semi Senior Accountant

Reed Accountancy is excited to partner with a reputable firm in search of a skilled Semi Senior Accountant. This role involves providing a range of accounting services to support their esteemed clients.
Day to Day of the role:
- Prepare accounts up to CT600 level and manage VAT preparation using various software systems.
- Handle personal tax preparation and communicate tax liabilities to clients through various channels.
- Ensure deadlines are met and returns are filed promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with external bodies and offer general advice to clients as needed.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing calls and client queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an Accountancy role, including VAT, CT600, and Personal Tax.
- Proficiency with Iris, Xero, Excel, and Sage.
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain order and efficiency in the workplace.
