Full-Time Year 6 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Chesterfield. This is a full-time role covering a maternity leave starting in February. The position is fixed until December 2025, with the possibility of extending beyond this date.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience working with upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.
  • Confident and effective teaching practices tailored to upper KS2.
  • Passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire Year 6 pupils to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.
