Accounts Manager - Accountancy Practice

Our clients account manager's serve as the liaisons to their customers. It is the account manager's responsibility to address customers' needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships.

A well-established, top-20 company that offers the best of both worlds by combining the expertise of a large firm with the personal service of a local practice. The practice is owned and managed by its partners, accompanied by a team of expert accountants, taxation and business advisors.

Description

Management and delivery of accounts and audit assignments for Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, Limited Companies (including groups).

Oversight of workflow and management of appropriate staff allocation.

  • Managing and taking the lead on audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Reviewing audit files ahead of Director review
  • Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including supporting analysis
  • Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
  • Delivering information and communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner
  • Assisting the senior management team and Directors on ad-hoc project work
  • Assistance with the training of staff

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a number of jobs across all portfolios, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met
  • Experience managing audit assignments including; planning, preparation, completion and client delivery
  • Display strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using IRIS and MyWorkPapers is preferred but is not essential
  • Qualifications:

ACA/ ACCA qualified
