Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and organized School Administrator with extensive experience in using the School Information Management System (SIMS). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient administrative operations and supporting the school's leadership, teachers, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school's SIMS database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all student records.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership team, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Handle enquiries from parents, students, and external agencies, providing excellent customer service and accurate information.
  • Coordinate student admissions, including processing applications, maintaining waiting lists, and organizing admissions events.
  • Assist in organizing and managing school events, meetings, and activities.
  • Monitor and record student attendance, generating reports and tracking absences.
  • Prepare and distribute school communications, such as newsletters, letters, and emails.
  • Maintain and update administrative systems and procedures to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly regarding data protection and safeguarding.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a School Administrator or in a similar administrative role within an educational setting.
  • Extensive experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) is essential.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection regulations in schools.
