My client, a property / real estate company based in London, is hiring for a Finance Officer to join their small but busy team.

This is a permanent and full-time role, which will be fully remote initially whilst an office space move is ongoing and hybrid thereafter.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

What you'll do :

As a Finance Officer, your role will be integral to the smooth operation of our client's asset management business. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support, including monitoring the portfolio, validating costs, conducting tax reviews, and managing bank accounts. Your excellent attention to detail will be crucial in preparing quarterly reports, reviewing accounts, and verifying supplier billing calculations. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within the company, gradually taking on more responsibilities as you become more familiar with the business.

  • Provide financial overview and monitoring of the portfolio
  • Validate costs and expenditures
  • Conduct tax review and planning for the portfolio
  • Manage bank accounts and make daily payments
  • Prepare quarterly reports to analyse portfolio performance
  • Review and understand quarterly accounts prepared by outsourced team
  • Prepare data for tax analysis as requested
  • Verify and check supplier billing calculation
