We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that are looking for teacher to join the team from half term on a long-term basis leading a class. The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities which will often be Complex needs.

The school are a truly unique environment who are incredibly proud of the work they do there - providing a valuable service to families in the area.

The role

This role is a maternity cover post where you will be leading a Lower KS2 class of 10 pupils, ably supported by 3 permanent TA's. The class have a range of complex needs & SLD. This role is long-term and fulltime so you will be expected to plan & mark your own lessons.

Due to the needs of the students it is important that you've worked with special needs & disabilities before but the school are open to accepting applications from staff that come from more of a mainstream background.
