You're leading a team of 4 people in a very busy Warehouse. You'll be a leader already or an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking for the next step up.
This business is small and agile but highly regarded in the world of what they do. They produce, stock and distribute materials and hardware into manufacturing businesses in the printing industry. Industry experience isn't needed but your ability to work in a fast-paced Warehouse is.
You'll be managing the team, workflow and the warehouse as a whole. Goods in, Goods Out, H&S, time management. The lot. You'll be expected to be operating heavy machinery and warehouse equipment so a FLT license is required, ideally a Counter Balanace License.
You'll be joining a great business here. They are highly regarded for what they do and how they do it. As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be vital in maintaining that reputation. The turnaround, the stock management, and the process rests with you.
The Distribution space is a 70,000 square ft facility. It's pretty big. So whilst the team might be small and agile the setup is mightily impressive. Stocking some of the biggest and best hardware and materials the industry needs to function and operate. The business is steep in history, and is going through some strong growth which is the reason for this recruitment now.
You'll have to commute to Accrington as this is an on-site based position.
