- Experience: Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Additionally, personal experience supporting family or friends with special needs is highly valued.
- Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, with additional SEN training or certification, is desirable.
- Empathy and Patience: Ability to understand and respond to the unique needs of SEN students with compassion and patience.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and external specialists.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to support various classroom needs and student requirements.
