Robert Half is working with a B2B Marketplace who are looking for a Business Development Associate on an initial 6 Month Contract. This Business Development Associate will play a key role in supporting offline sales channels, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the business presence in the UK market across FMCG, grocery, and beauty segments.

Business Development Associate - 6 Month Contract - London

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research on consumer preferences, trends, and competition in the FMCG, grocery, toiletries, and beauty in the UK
  • Assist in developing sales strategies, marketing plans, and product positioning based on market insights.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in negotiating partnership agreements and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.

Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
  • Coordinate offline marketing initiatives such as trade shows, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.

Sales Channel Expansion:

  • Explore and develop additional offline sales channels, including retail outlets, supermarkets, and specialty stores.
  • Implement merchandising strategies and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and sales.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and monitor sales performance, KPIs, and metrics for FMCG, grocery, toiletries, and beauty products.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and drawing actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute to business growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

KPIs & Commision Structure Available in this role.
