  • Salary: £46,000 - £52,500
  • Hybrid
  • Ideally 8am-6pm or 37.5hrs a week

We are seeking a Recruitment Manager to oversee the recruitment activities The successful candidate will ensure all recruitment aligns with the Recruitment Plan and budget, manage the Programme Recruitment Team, and coordinate cleansing activities in conjunction with the teams. This role is integral to supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare services.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage the Programme's recruitment to align with the Recruitment Plan, providing a high-quality service and ensuring planned recruitment activity is delivered.
  • Oversee the recruitment team from vacancy identification to completion of recruitment checks and issuing appointment/contract documentation.
  • Develop and manage onboarding arrangements, including induction programmes and IT/system sign-ons for new staff.
  • Ensure recruitment procedures meet Employers, Equality Act, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Liaise with managers and staff across the Programme and within the 3 trusts for timely and accurate recruitment and selection procedures.
  • Share best practices with other EPR programme recruitment teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date activity analysis and produce recruitment reports as requested.
  • Review, develop, and implement Programme recruitment policies and procedures to ensure best practice and legislative compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's level education or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • CIPD or post-graduate level qualification in recruitment or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience managing recruitment in a large complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of General Employment Law relating to recruitment.
  • Experience managing recruitment advertising and liaising with recruitment agencies.
  • Proven team management experience and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing equality and diversity issues.
  • Experience with e-recruitment systems and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Desirable: NHS experience including managing Recruitment activity using NHS Jobs and ESR.
