ICT Technician required
4-month contract
Starting - September
36.25 hours per week
Rate of pay ranges from - £12.50 to £14.00 (depending on experience)
Area: OL16
DBS will be required - (enhanced) This will be conducted by the client
We are looking for an experienced ICT Technician to join one of our Primary Schools in the Rochdale area.
Duties:
To carry out repairs, installation, and maintenance to ensure the working order of ICT-related resources.
To assist school staff in configuring workstations/systems to make these run effectively.
To advise staff and students on ICT-related matters to assist in the resolution of ICT-related problems.
To resolve difficulties in running the school information management systems.
To ensure the files are backed up and archived appropriately in accordance with the data security requirements.
To set up and maintain the various servers, ensuring minimal disruption to the normal running of the school.
Essential Criteria
Experience working in a similar environment
To posses L3 qualification in ICT or equivalent
GSCE - grade A to C in Maths and English
Setting up and configuring computers and network development
PC Maintenance
