Job Title: Estimator
Location: Wigan- Office based with site visits as required
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading competitive tenders and pricing, ensuring all projects are costed accurately and competitively. This role is primarily office-based, with occasional site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of competitive tenders, ensuring all pricing is accurate and detailed.
Collaborate closely with the senior team to develop cost plans and tender documentation.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
Visit sites to understand project scope and requirements.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and pricing information.
Ensure all tenders are submitted on time and meet the client's requirements.
Assist in the negotiation of final contracts and agreements.
Continuously monitor and update tender documents and cost estimates to reflect any changes or updates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably within the retail, bar, and leisure fit-out sectors.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in the use of estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Valid driving license for site visits as required.
