Job Description
- You will ensure that all industry standards are maintained as required these standards will include: AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, NADCAP (NDT), R-R SABRE, R-R GS3001.
- Manage a robust internal audit schedule is in place and adhered to and ensure all audits are conducted in line with best practices and any non-conformance is closed out within a timely manner.
- Ensure all external audits are organised effectively and conducted efficiently.
- Ensure the Quality Management System is kept under continuous review and that all opportunities for improvement are reviewed and implemented where required.
- Ensure robust quality controls are implemented and followed at all points during the manufacturing process and that they are aligned to our customer's and regulatory requirements
- Employ robust quality tools to investigate, correct and prevent non-conformance.
- Ensure that the business KPI's are aligned with the Quality Management system
Quality Manager
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Experience precision engineering background within a highly regulated industry (Aerospace or Nuclear).
- 7+ years' experience working within a quality function, minimum 4 years management experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a senior management role
- Experience leading internal & external audit.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- In depth knowledge of ERP systems
- Knowledgeable of industry best practice across new product introduction and quality systems.
