We are seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher to join our nurturing community at a SEN Provision in the London Borough of Croydon. This role is ideal for an experienced instructor with a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional, learning, and social communication difficulties. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT education to pupils with Educational Health Care Plans and additional needs.
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods to motivate and inspire pupils towards high achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialist agencies, and community partners to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience in teaching ICT, preferably within a SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by pupils with SEMH.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the ethos and values of the Beckmead Trust.
