Location: London (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 26th August 2024 - 28th February 2025

Compensation: £600/Day Inside IR35 (Negotiable)

Hours per Week: 40

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will manage the application process for becoming an Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM) under the UK and EU Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

Key Responsibilities:

Application Management: Oversee the entire application process for ARM status under MiFID, ensuring compliance with both UK and EU regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Determine the required information and collaborate with stakeholders to gather narrative responses and documentary evidence.

Progress Tracking: Track the completion of tasks and collate materials needed for the application submission.

Form Completion: Complete the application form, ensuring that all responses adequately provide the required information.

Facilitation: Facilitate group discussions to address progress, issues, or questions arising from the project.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding progress and escalate issues as needed.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the financial services or regulatory sectors.

Strong understanding of the UK and EU Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
