About the School
This is an Ofsted 'good' School located in popular Potters Bar, Herts. The school teaches in a balanced way between structured lessons and creativity making this a popular school for teachers who are not inspired by prescriptive teaching. Outcomes for the pupils are good and attainment is increasing. Behaviour is excellent throughout the keys stages and parents are supportive when issues do arrive. Senior Leadership support and develop staff and career progression is offered to all who show ambition and desire to progress. Requirements of the post
- QTS achieved or expected to be achieved prior to September in Primary Teaching.
- Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
- Ability to motivate, engage and progress pupils from all backgrounds
- Understanding of SEN and EAL teaching
- Desire to be a full-time class teacher between Years 3 to 6
- Desire to improve teaching through continual professional development
