Location: Rotherham (and off-site with Subsidised Travel Expenses
Salary: Up to £35,501 per annum (Market Force Supplement, dependent on qualifications/experience). Part-time up to £17,750.50 for 18.5 hours.

Are you passionate about shaping the future of plumbing and gas engineering?

Our client is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to coach, assess, and inspire the next generation of plumbing professionals. Based at Rotherham College with opportunities for offsite work, this role is ideal for someone with a strong background in plumbing apprenticeship frameworks and standards who's looking to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess plumbing apprenticeship frameworks and standards
  • Coach and mentor apprentices, helping them develop essential skills and behaviours for success in the plumbing and gas industry
  • Conduct on-site performance reviews, manage e-portfolios, and maintain accurate records to track student progress
  • Build strong relationships with apprentices and employers, supporting their development and meeting industry needs

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in a relevant plumbing or heating discipline
  • A1/V1 Assessors Award (or equivalent)
  • Strong IT skills for managing e-portfolios and tracking systems
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • IQA Award is a plus

We're open to job shares (2 individuals at 185 hours per week) to suit your flexibility needs
