Refurbishment or Relocation Experience Needed

We're on the lookout for a second seasoned Project Manager to enhance our client's dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in leading a significant office renovation project, collaborating effectively with two key team members to ensure a seamless execution.

IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU HAVE SOLID EXPERIENCE AS A PROJECT MANAGER WITHIN A LARGE CORPORATE LEGAL FIRM, CORPORATE FINANCIAL SERVICES/BANKING FIRM, CORPORATE ACCOUNTING OR CORPORATE CONSULTING FIRM.

ALSO EXPERIENCE WITH REFURBISHMENTS OR OFFICE RELOCATIONS

Primary Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the logistical aspects of a significant office renovation, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Collaborating closely with team members and various departments to guarantee project success.
  • Effective communication strategy development for office transitions to ensure staff experiences minimal operational disruption.
  • Oversight of project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitating all necessary relocations and interactions with external partners.
  • Managing the project team effectively, from initiation through to completion.
  • Maintaining a detailed log of project tasks, risks, and issues, and providing regular updates to all stakeholders.
  • Regularly auditing service delivery standards to maintain high-quality output.
  • Overseeing third-party services and costs, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating any project risks.
  • Reviewing and suggesting improvements to existing policies and managing space planning activities.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of team members and stakeholders.
  • A proven track record with at least five years in project management, preferably with experience in office renovations or related fields.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of project and space management tools.
  • A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • The flexibility to adapt to different leadership styles and the initiative to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to workload management, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
